CFO accepts Donations and Assistance


The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) is now accepting donations/assistance for families affected by the floods brought about by the monsoon rains in the Philippines.

The country was battered by torrential rains, which resulted to Luzon being submerged in deep waters.  According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), an estimate 1.2 million individuals are affected.  Hardest hit are cities and municipalities in the National Capital Region, Central Luzon and Southern Tagalog.

LOS ANGELES, Calif- It can be tough for young immigrants moving from the Philippines to the US, but for many, leaving the homeland for the opportunity to make it in a first world country may be worth it.
